Experiences

Discover the many adventure activities you can enjoy here at Montana Mountains. There is always something to do: in every season, for young and old, and for beginners and experts.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

SKIEN

Thanks to the park's elevation differences, skiers of all skill levels can enjoy our slopes. The ski season begins with the first snowfall (usually in mid-November) and generally lasts until mid-March.

CLIMATE

Ice climbing is a relatively new activity at the park, but already immensely popular. We offer various climbing facilities and a three-hour course for beginning climbers. All climbing equipment can be rented on site.

HELISKI

Conquer the most challenging mountains and slopes with our heliski package. With this package you will reach the farthest reaches of our park and give yourself a truly unique skiing experience.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

CYCLING TOURS

Throughout the park you will find hundreds of miles of paved and off-road trails. Do be prepared for strong winds and possibly slippery conditions when riding in higher elevations. Therefore, always wear protective clothing and a helmet.

HIKEN

Bring your hiking poles, sturdy shoes and plenty of high-energy food, because once you've discovered the hiking trails in our park, you won't want to stop. There are trails for hikers of every level. All trails are clearly marked.

CAMP

The park has over 180 camping sites. These are in high demand - so booking a spot in advance is a must! Keep in mind that not all camping locations have facilities such as running water and toilets. This is especially true of sites deeper in the park.

WILD ANIMALS

The abundance of animals in the park is enormous. You are free to take photos, but be sure to stay at a safe distance from the animals. Respect the animals you encounter - this is their home.

CANOE TRIPS

Exploring by canoe is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the park. Glide along the water at a leisurely pace and admire the beautiful scenery along the way. There are two rental locations for canoes and associated equipment.

HORSE

Horseback riding has been part of our national park since its establishment in 1900. Horses, donkeys and llamas are allowed on designated trails and contribute to the special atmosphere of the park.
